Each United States Senator must take the following oath:

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.

It is our contention that each of the Senators featured in individual blogs on FireSenator.com has violated the oath of office by voting in favor of and continually supporting unconstitutional legislation, and therefore should not be permitted to continue representing American citizens.  It is the responsibility of the citizenship to remove these Senators from office and to demand that federal legislation not undermine the Constitution of the United States.

A Fire Senator blog has been setup for each Senator that is a hindrance to American citizens’ freedom.  Contributors for each blog are constituents of the Senator in question who are willing to take the initiative in holding their Senators accountable for their actions in the Senate.

In each constituency, we will raise awareness of the poor representation, of the assaults on freedom, and of the freedom-loving candidates who challenge these Senators for their seats in Washington.
