Contribute to FireSenator.com

If you would like to contribute (content, not money) to FireSenator.com, you need to be aware of the following requirements and reminders for contributors.

Constituent
You must be a constituent of the Senator on whose blog you wish to contribute.  You can, if you would like to, contribute to both of your Senators’ blogs.

Liberty-minded
You don’t have to be a Libertarian, or a Ron Paul Republican, or a fiscally-conservative Democrat, or a member of any other party to be eligible to contribute to a Fire Senator blog.  You do, however, need to take liberty-minded stances on political issues.  If you’re a fan of small government, lower taxes, controlled spending, states’ sovereignty, and individual responsibility, you would be a good candidate to contribute.  If you want to fire your Senator because he’s too fiscally conservative, your contributions would be best offered elsewhere.

Zero Tolerance
We’ll be watching everything that gets posted on FireSenator.com blogs.  You should feel free to express your opinions and tackle any subject you’d like, but if your posts start going against the rules and regulations outlined here, you’ll find that your account magically stops working.

Adult and Illegal Content
It’s a shame it even needs to get mentioned, but here it is anyway.  No adult or illegal content is permitted on any Fire Senator blog.  There are absolutely no exceptions.

No Libel
Don’t write it if it isn’t true.  Go ahead and say what you think about issues, news, and votes, but don’t make accusations you can’t back up with proof.

Getting Started
If this all sounds good to you, and you want to get started blogging about your Senator (or Senators), get in touch via the contact page.  Just let us know who you want to blog about, and we’ll get you setup as quickly as we can.
